Yesterday I went to church. I didn't really want to go to church but I do know that there is some God, and my mom kept bugging me, so I went. The last church I went to was boring, so I figured this one would be the same.
When I walked in I saw the men in suits and the women in long skirts. Not only the women, but the young girls in skirts too. I knew something was weird, but I have to admit, it was.... different.
I sat in the back while my mom went to the middle row along with my little brother. People were praying and saying Jesus this and Jesus that. Some were even crying... Something weird again.

Then a girl went to the piano, and a man went behind this tall piece of wood and greeted us. The girl started singing, there were 3 other people singing with her. One guy and two girls. All of them around my age, maybe 18 or 20?

They sang so good! I was surprised, I mean, they weren't like a band or anything.
All of a sudden, I started feeling kind of....weird. I felt like I wanted to cry, but I wasn't sad. I glanced over at my mom and she was all red in the face, crying, with her hands up. Some women were praying with her. After I saw this, and I saw some other people in the church crying and shouting, I couldn't help it. I cried too. I don't know why, but I felt... I felt relieved. I put my head down though, and sat down, because I didn't want anybody to see me crying. That was still embarrassing. I could tell that the girl behind the piano noticed though. I tried to stop crying but I couldn't. After couple of minutes, I wiped the tears away and walked out of the church. It was just too...weird for me.. Although I have to admit, I did feel different when I walked out.

There were 3 visitors today at church. It was a mom and her 2 boys. One was about 10, the other was about `18 or 19, I suppose. When I went to the piano after prayer I saw that the ten year old was with his mom, and the other older one was in the back. He looked like a typical high school boy. He had a hat on and baggy pants and all, he clearly looked like he didn't want to be there. The praise team and I started singing and almost immediately the mother started getting touched by God. A saint from the church went to pray with her. I looked at the young man in the back, and to my surprise tears were strolling down his cheeks, his face was red and he was using his shirt to dry the tears. I expected that a saint from my church would go pray for him like they were doing for his mother, but they didn't. I thought eventually somebody would notice him you know? And go pray for him. I kept glancing over to him, he was still crying. I could tell God was tugging at his heart, but he was fighting it off, but nobody prayed with him. NOBODY saw this young man in the back. I was so disappointed when the young man, got up and left. He left without even a goodbye.
