Jen's Midweek Pick-Me-Up Kit

A couple of weeks back I put together a Midweek Pick-me-up kit  for my Kindred. I knew that she had been very busy lately and was having jam packed/stressful weeks, and I wanted to make her feel a bit better.
Here is what this kit included:

A Kit-Kat to give her a break (get it?!) Even though it was melted.. haha

A picture of us so she could remember that there were people around her that loved her and were praying for her.

  • A $5.00 Starbucks gift card for a cup of joe coffee.  *giggle*
  • A mini "Lol" book that I put together. I basically looked up one liners and jokes and made this little book. One of the lines was "Atheism is a nonprofit organization" Funny right? right? RIGHT ?!!!
  • An energy bar, to give her energy....duh.

And that's it I think!
Do you know whats the easiest, quickest way to feel good about yourself?!
Do something for somebody else :)
That's the only reason I did this! Totally kidding. lol

  7. Shall I bow at your feet? No need to mail the melted kit kat anyways, the first one ended up melting in my hot car! But no biggie, just stuck it in the freezer so it un-melted. lol

And yeah, it's stemming from Odyssey, Elias is just trying to be clever/funny but we know how that goes. lol jk
    Thanks again, kindred!

    1. Well if you come over on Monday the carne asada that I'll feed you will count as a pick-me-up kit. haha.

And I don't know Elias enough to know if he is clever/funny or not, I mean he DID try to run the Wakefields and I at PCC. But then again I am not one to talk about sense of humor, since we all know how my jokes go....lol ahem..

    1. As long as you feel you are clever, that's all that matters.Even though it DOES help to have others think the same! haha
